Dear users of the de.NBI cloud Tübingen,
as I wrote last week, we have had a massive problem with one of our storage nodes, affecting only Region Two. The storage node is now working again, but unfortunately this has resulted in more serious network and software issues, causing more and more instances to throw errors, causing various components of the infrastructure to interfere with each other. Unfortunately, we could not fix this problem without taking a downtime of several weeks to months. For this reason, we had to shut down all instances in Region Two for the time being, as well as some internal components, so that the system can catch itself again. Please refrain from restarting your instances today and tomorrow unless you hear anything further from us.
Unfortunately, we still can't predict how long the repair work will take. We would like to fix the problem as soon as possible. We are still working hard on the problem and can still offer resources in Region One for urgent requests for users who do not need their data in Region Two and do not require GPUs.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
On behalf of the de.NBI team Tübingen,
Fabian Paz
