Dear users of the de.NBI Cloud,
We are pleased to inform you that we are ready to upgrade our cloud infrastructure to a new OpenStack version. This upgrade will provide a more stable, robust, and feature-rich cloud environment.
We have scheduled the maintenance window for this upgrade from Tuesday, June 30, 10:30 AM until Thursday, July 2, 5:30 PM.
On the first day, we plan to upgrade the core services. During this time, you may experience temporary interruptions to network connectivity and cloud services. However, your VMs will remain running and will not be shut down on the first day.
On the second and third days, we plan to upgrade the compute services. This will require shutting down VMs hosted on the affected compute nodes. Region 1 compute nodes are planned to be updated on the second day, and Region 2 compute nodes on the third day.
We kindly ask that if your VMs are shut down during the maintenance, please do not attempt to start them again on the same day. We will inform you when it is safe to power them on again.
We will send additional reminders and further information before and during the maintenance so that you can plan accordingly.
