Dear users of the de.NBI Cloud,
We would like to kindly remind you about the upcoming upgrade of our cloud infrastructure to a new OpenStack version.
The maintenance window is scheduled from Tuesday, June 30, 10:30 AM until Thursday, July 2, 5:30 PM.
On the first day, we plan to upgrade the core services. During this time, you may experience temporary interruptions to network connectivity and cloud services. However, your VMs will remain running and will not be shut down on the first day.
On the second and third days, we will upgrade the compute services. This will require shutting down VMs hosted on the affected compute nodes. Region 1 compute nodes are scheduled to be updated on the second day, and Region 2 compute nodes on the third day.
If your VMs are shut down during the maintenance, we kindly ask you not to attempt to restart them on the same day. We will notify you as soon as it is safe to power them on again.
We will send additional reminders and provide further information before and during the maintenance to help you plan accordingly.
