Dear users of the de.NBI Cloud at the DKFZ Heidelberg,
due to a scheduled maintenance and migration of the Manila NFS backend on Tuesday, February 3 at 8:00 a.m. CEST, all hypervisors will need to be restarted. Therefore, all virtual machines must be shut down in a controlled manner to avoid interruptions to your services after the machines are restarted.
Please ensure that you have shut down your instances before Tuesday, February 3 at 8:00 a.m. CEST. Any instances that have not been shut down by this time will be shut down by us.
We expect the downtime to be completed on the same day and will send you a message as soon as you can safely start your VMs. In addition, we will send further information concerning users with NFS shares, as these will be made available from a new endpoint.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
de.NBI Cloud Team DKFZ Heidelberg
